5 Ways to Wear Wide Leg Trousers: LOOKBOOK

Hello, My Lovelies, Welcome back to my channel! Hope everyone is feeling fine and dandy despite another drop in the degrees outside! Brrrrrr As the new year is well under way we are at that awkward fashion stage between seasons where it is still way too cold to even think about the spring/summer, I thought this week I would keep things totally classic and show you guys how to style one of my favourite year-round wardrobe staples, Wide Leg Trousers.

More than often seen on the queen of style Victoria Beckham, wide legged high waisted trousers are an ultra-chic go to for all year round. Team them with a crisp white shirt or turtle neck for the office, then pop them with a cute body or crop top for when you hit the dance floor at the weekend. They are super versatile and a great investment for your wardrobe. T

his amazing pair I picked up in Mango for £49.99, they are the super high waisted and long which creates a lovely silhouette with the illusion of longer legs (every ladies dream right!)

So here are 5 totally different ways to either dress up or dress down these classic bottoms.

Enjoy guys!

Emily

How to style Pink for Winter

Hello Everyone,
Welcome back to Stylemewithlove. I am sooooo glad to be back this week with a brand new style video for you. I took a little break last week to have a bit of ‘me’ time which I very much needed, we all need a wee refresher from time to time and part of my plan for looking after myself and keeping my wellbeing in check is taking off the pressure and giving myself a breather. I definitely find it keeps my creative juices flowing and helps me to stay motivated. Now I am very happily back in the swing of things and looking forward to sharing many more style videos with you for in the lead up to party season!
In dedication to the hugely anticipated Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show! (my favourite annual event)! The theme of this week’s video is PINK!
Pink? Pink? For Winter? Really?
YES REALLY! Pink is not just a colour for springtime weddings and summer proms, it is one of those colour's that can add a cute pop to your winter wardrobe and add a lovely girly touch to those darker plainer shades.

In this week’s video, I have styled my 3 favourite pink pieces to wear all through the Autumn/Winter. I think these looks are perfect for a glamorous Saturday street style look.
So grab a cuppa sit back and enjoy!

Thank you so much for watching and supporting my YouTube channel. Please subscribe to my channel for new style videos every Wednesday!

Belfast Fashion Week AW17: High Street Heaven

A couple of weeks ago I was extremely lucky to attend another season of West Coast Cooler’s Fashion Week here in Belfast. This was my third season attending the event and as ever it was fabulous! The venue, the style, the models, the bloggers! I particularly thought this was one of the strongest season’s for influencer style and the front row inspired me just as much as the catwalk. The High Street Heaven show presented by Melissa Riddell and Cathy Martin showed the best of our High Street brands such as Debenhams, George, and Remus Uomo. There was also exclusive Director’s Cut styled by Cathy Martin which included River Island, Asos, and Zara.

I hope you enjoy this vlog of the night and it gives you some fashion inspiration for your Autumn/ Winter wardrobe.

Have a fabulous week my friends.

How to Style Red: LOOKBOOK

Reddy or Not? Here I come, head to toe in the colour of the season, RED!

I absolutely adore bright colours and red is one of those classics that's stays on trend all year every year, however this Autumn/Winter it has been trending like never before. Whether you are dressing red to toe (loving the red puns today!) or just add a pop of it with a bright red jumper and even that Christmas party dress! There is a place for red in every outfit. Inspired by the colour of the season I thought I would put together a lookbook of how I like to style Red. From casual to classy there is a look for every mood and event. So get out those bright pieces or invest in a new statement piece for the season, trust me you’ll get plenty of wear out of it. Red staples never go out of fashion so you can play with this trend as much or as little as you desire, and hey what a sexy trend, right? I hope this Lookbook inspires you all to find your inner vixen and red it up for the weekend! (okay I know that the last pun was a bit dodgy right).

I hope you enjoy, please like, share and subscribe to my channel as it really supports me in making these videos for you guys and that means so much.

5 Ways to Style a Chunky Knit : LOOKBOOK

Happy Hump Day! Hope you are all feeling good.

Last weekend I picked up a gorgeous chunky knit jumper in M&S so thought this was the perfect opportunity to do a "How to Style It 5 Ways" video. I love making these videos as it really shows how versatile your wardrobe can be and is a great way to see if an item is worth investing in. When I shop I always try to visualize at least 5 ways I can style a piece and if these come into my head fairly quickly I know I can guarantee I’ll get plenty off wear out of it. I absolutely fell in love with this chunky red turtle neck jumper in M&S (£35) it is super cosy and perfect for AW17. I hope you enjoy this video and like the way I styled the jumper I’d love you to leave a comment with your favourite look too! As always thank you so much for watching my videos, your support means so much and is so encouraging to me.

Have a fabulous week and weekend,

Much Love Emily xo

LEATHER VS LACE LOOKBOOK

Buenas Dias Amigos!
There I go again forgetting that I’m in Belfast, not Barcelona! Oh well, apart from the weather life is pretty sweet here. There are so many exciting projects and events that come up this time of year so you will be seeing far more of me and my channel.
I am very excited to share this week’s fashion fix video with you all! I had so much fun filming it with my good friend and fellow blogger The Real Elle Woods.
Today’s video is all about Leather and Lace. To me, leather and lace when worn together are the perfect combination of classic feminine with a hard edge. It’s a cool, sexy, sophisticated vibe and completely versatile as you will see in this Lookbook. From cute and girly to dressed down and grungy, anyone can take on this look and put their own unique spin on it and that is just why I love it! It’s perfect for this time of year when we are transitioning into colder times ahead. As lace is usually so popular in the summer too this is a great way to take your summer looks to Autumn.

I hope this Lookbook gives you guys some inspiration to reinvent those cute lace summer tops into a more edgy look perfect for Autumn/ Winter.

Thank you so much for watching. Please leave a comment and let me know your favourite look too and any suggestions for recreating it. I always love fresh ideas and inspiration.
If you liked the video please hit the thumbs up button as it really supports my channel and I will love you forever.

Love Emily xo

The Best of the Belfast Fashion Week Launch :AW17

The start of a new season is one of my favourite times of the year here in Belfast.  We are very lucky to have an amazing fashion following for such a wee city. Thank you to Cathy Martin and West Coast Cooler we have our very own fashion week event each season and it is by far my favourite event of the year.

With each West Coast Cooler Fashion Week I have attended (this will be my third)  the audience has increased, the venues have become more epic and the styling more high fashion than ever. One of my favourite events last season was the Lavazza Style Brunch, this event was hosted by Cathy Martin and 4 local stylists who created the most amazing couture looks using all vintage or high street and customised pieces. It was such an inspiration to me and I loved every moment.

This season fashion week is moving to the stunning St Anne's Cathedral in the very cultural cathedral quarter,  I know this will be the most fantastic fashion week so far.

To get us all pumped up for the Autumn Winter season, Cathy invited local press, bloggers and photographers to the fashion week launch party last Thursday lunchtime. As expected The Bullit Hotel was a stunning location for such a sophisticated event. It was bigger and bolder than ever and the perfect setting for Belfast's oh so chic fashionistas.

The event hosted Belfast's most stylish socialites and influencers, I must say, they were all dressed to impress.

After a bit of mingling and style spotting, it was time to get on with the main event, the catwalk talk! Like always Cathy had put together fashion forward and trend led looks to inspire us all.

Here are some of my favourite looks and trends from the show.

pixlr_20170902211552503-01.jpeg

One of my favourite trends of this season is feathers, fur and fringe. This trend screams all things fussy, fun and feminine. It is gloriously glamorous and can be worn in so many ways and with so many unique takes. From 50's inspired elegance to fun and funky. You can take this ladylike look anywhere this season, don't be afraid to mix it up and play with it. Be loud and proud and enjoy the fancy fantasy.

pixlr_20170902210958091-01.jpeg

I adore a bold colour statement and that's why this season I will be repping the red all the way. For every skin tone there is a shade of red that will give you a glow and wearing it top to bottom will create the ultimate impact when you walk down the street. That's right, all eyes on you my ladies! I can't wait to style this trend with some of my favourite wardrobre staples. Red is such a classic colour every year trust me you will get plenty of wear out of those new red purchases. So go and invest!

pixlr_20170902212500762-01.jpeg

The metallics, sequins and glitter on Cathy's catwalk got me very excited for what's to come at the Belfast Fashion Week Shows in October. This little taster of glitzy looks were young, vibrant and edgy! Mixing textures and teaming each look with trainers for a more street style approach. I can't wait to get glammed up and glittery this season.

So after another promising launch from Belfast's Queen of Style, I can not wait to attend another season of this epic event! I am visualizing and planning outfits as I write!

Belfast Fashion Week runs from the 26th - 30th October. For more information on the show schedule and to purchase tickets just visit http://www.belfastfashionweek.com/

I'll see you lovely lot there!

3 Transitional Outfits: Summer to Autumn Lookbook

Happy Wednesday My lovelies,

Hope you are all feeling fantastic today! I can’t believe it is September this week. The summer is coming to end and the shops are quickly filling with shearling coats and cozy jumpers! I always find the transition between seasons a rather tricky one as it’s generally still fairly warm but we’re all a bit done with our summer wardrobe.

This week I have put together 3 casual looks to inspire you through the summer to autumn transition. Each look is simple, capsule and can easily be layered as the weather gets that bit colder. It was also the perfect opportunity for me to start bringing the hats in again (you know I love a good hat!)

In each look, I've kept the colour palette fairly neutral, so it's perfect if you do want to inject a statement colour to brighten the look up on the last few sunny days we have. Anyway, I am super excited for the Autumn to come, I have some really exciting lookbooks planned and I can't wait to share them with you all! Thank you so much for watching and supporting my channel. Please like, share and subscribe, I love it when you do that!

I dedicate this video to the Samaritans, a charity I am very passionate about and thankful for.
Suffering with my mental health for many years is something I have kept hidden, been in denial about and often been ashamed to admit. It is only after 10 years of suffering that I finally feel strong enough to start taking steps forward to improve my life. Making this video was a very scary nerve-wracking thing for me to do, however the feeling I got when I thought of the idea told me I had to do it no matter what. Please join me and tag your friends and family to share just 5 reasons why you love yourself, make a video or share a picture and tag #iloveme
To think of 5 reasons I loved myself was such a big step for me in terms of moving forward and it is not by any means going to solve my long term problems, however, it is one small step I can take to turn a negative into a positive and hopefully spread awareness and positivity. We should never feel ashamed to say we love ourselves, it is something we should embrace! We are all special, unique people with our own stories to tell and real problems behind closed doors. If you ever need to talk to someone, you can call Samaritans for free anytime, from any phone on 116 123.

On behalf of the Samaritans I would love people to make donation to them HERE
Please share, tag, donate and spread the self-love and positivity. #ILoveMe #LoveYourself #ShareSelfCare #ISeeMe #ILovemyself

3 WEEKEND SUMMER OUTFITS

Hola Amigos, Happy Hump Day!

In this week's video, I wanted to give you guys some inspiration for your weekend attire. Sometimes we can forget that our dressy clothes could easily be made more casual and take us from shopping to champers! So, I decided to pick out 3 hero items that I thought would work perfectly for both day and night- my pink ruffle skirt, leopard print shorts, and my navy blazer. With heels, flats, lace or leather these items are great capsule pieces for day or night.
I hope you guys enjoy the video, please leave me a little comment and let me know what your favourite look was. See you next Wednesday for another episode of Stylemewithlove.
All outfits listed below.
Have a fantastic week everyone.
Lots of love
Emily
